I have spent a few days now with the "new" Fuji X-T2... I have gone long way from Nikon D90 through D600, Fuji X-T1, D7100, D750 to finally find my ultimate camera, Fuji X-T2.
I truly am amazed at the pictures coming straight from the camera, the JPEGS are simply beautiful. The sharpness of the pictures is incredible, the colours are perfect (especially the Chrome simulation) and there is really no need to shoot in raw, unless the lightning conditions become severe and heavy post-processing is needed.
I only have as of today the set lens (18-55mm 2.8-4.0) but have used in the past the 10-24/4 and 35mm/1.4, but I did not really expect such a great performance from the basic set lens. It truly is a great lens, the contrast, the sharpness. The bokeh is pleasing, at least to me.
Here are some pictures taken in Austrian Alps (Kaprun) with the XT2 and the 18-55 lens.
All the pics are straight out of the camera Jpegs with some cropping, only the B&W have been put in black and white in Lightroom.
